Terms of Service

Last updated July 2026

These Terms govern your use of ADO (Artisan Digital Opus, at ado.theboringdigital.com) and any software you buy from us, including SF, the Sample Finder. By using the site or buying a product, you agree to these Terms. ADO is a brand of The Boring Digital.

1. What we sell

ADO sells downloadable audio software, delivered as plugins for digital audio workstations. Payments are processed by our seller of record, Lemon Squeezy, who issues your receipt and invoice.

2. Purchases and delivery

  • Products are digital and delivered electronically (a download link and license) as soon as your payment is confirmed.
  • Prices are shown in USD and may change before you buy. Any applicable taxes are calculated at checkout by Lemon Squeezy.
  • You need to give us a valid email address so you can receive your download.

3. Your license

Unless a product says otherwise, your purchase gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software on machines you own or control, for personal and commercial music work. You may not resell, share, or redistribute the software itself. See the License for full terms.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not copy, crack, or redistribute the software or its license keys.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, attack, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure.
  • Do not use the software for anything unlawful.

5. Intellectual property

All site content and software are owned by The Boring Digital or its licensors and protected by law. Ableton and Live are trademarks of Ableton AG; other names are trademarks of their owners and are used only for identification. ADO is not affiliated with or endorsed by Ableton AG.

6. Disclaimers

The software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that it will be error free or compatible with every system or host.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Boring Digital is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed what you paid for the product the claim relates to.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the revised Terms. The date above shows the last update.
